Our Colleagues are Remembered
President Richard I. Gouse recently honored four members
of the New England Tech family who left us too early by dedicating
plaques in their memory. They are: Michael Amore, Refrigeration/Air
Conditioning Technology department chair; Frank Gassett, Jr., Automotive
Technology instructor; Bob Jean, Electrical Technology instructor;
and Nancy Mazza, assistant to the Fiscal Office. Plaques were dedicated
in their memory.
The plaques for Michael, Frank and
Bob were placed outside their respective classrooms in which they
spent countless hours dedicated to the teaching of their students.
Nancy's plaque was mounted on the wall outside of the Business Office
where she worked so diligently. The following are the inscriptions:
In memory of Mike Amore: A name that is synonymous
with refrigeration/air conditioning education in Rhode Island.
