NEIT Offers College Credits to Eight RI High School Academies of Information Technology.

New England Institute of Technology announces that it will offer academic credit for technical skills or competencies mastered by students completing the National Academy Foundation's (NAF) Academy of Information Technology (AOIT) program in RI high schools. Currently there are eight schools statewide offering AOIT: the Area Career and Technical Centers in Warwick, Woonsocket and Newport; Times Squared Academy and Hope High in Providence; Davies Career and Technical High School; South Kingstown; and Mt. Hope (Bristol/Warren) High Schools. "NEIT is an institution focused on student success and recognizes the value of the NAF AOIT programs in preparing high school students to develop their technical skills for that purpose," said Erin Flynn, Coordinator of the High School Program at NEIT.
